Server chores

Backups and maintenance that check themselves. A backup that is never tested can be broken for months without anyone noticing. Altoquant runs the backup every night — and once a week it also tests that the backup can really be restored.

You say — once
~/work "set up nightly backups for these three servers and verify a restore weekly"
01 · Set it up once

In a live session, the agent writes the backup scripts for your servers while you watch and approve each step.

02 · Run it every night

One job runs the backups at night. A second job runs once a week: it restores a sample from the backup and checks that the data is complete.

03 · Problems are handled first, you are asked last

If a run fails, Altoquant reads the error output and tries known fixes: a full disk, expired credentials, a server that needs a second try. It only contacts you when it cannot fix the problem itself — and then with one clear question, not a wall of logs.
